Alyssa Milano tapped 15 Years Of Bad Dates Romantic challenged:
Alyssa Milano says she used her many years of difficult situations in her role perfectly as a new separate Rebecca on ABC Romantic challenged. Premiering April 19 at 9:30 / 8:30 c, the sitcom focuses on a group of friends trying to find love while navigating the world of first dates, new relationships, and the one-night stands. Milano, 37, spoke to TVGuide.com about how it relates to its unique character and the chemistry between the actors.

TVGuide.com: Tell me about your character Rebecca.
Alyssa Milano: She's a newly divorced single mother of a 16-year-old son. She is a really, really, really bad dater because they never have done before - she married her high school sweetheart. She tries to get over her ex-husband [and] take all the bad advice of her group of friends.

TVGuide.com: You recently got married, you still, but refer to difficult situations?
Milano: Oh, of course. I have many years of embarrassment than of marriage. I have a good 15 years to tap. I'm as geeky [as my character]. I was never good at dating. , I'd rather anywhere in the world than on a first date. I avoided the way you would not believe.

Alyssa Milano gets married

TVGuide.com: Do you think viewers will relate to that?
Milano: I think its obstinacy and its geekyness her real sympathy, and I think people will react. Looking for love is a universal thing that I think there is something in every episode will understand that the people as the series goes. It's not like they getting better at dating. With each of the characters are romantic challenges have to sort of go through, but they are always able to lean on each other.

TVGuide.com: What about the rest of the cast?
Milano: the real heart of the show is about a group of friends who are fully functional with each other, and once they step outside their immediate environment, they are socially awkward. I think what makes a successful show and what makes the individual characters successful is the chemistry between the actors.

TVGuide.com: How did you decide to do another sitcom?
Milano: I never go into a pilot-season scripts to read and say I want to do a sitcom or a drama I want to do. I'm looking for what I respond to - the best of what's out there. I type it all every day. I do not forecast what will I do what I want to play. I enjoy doing comedy, I enjoy making people laugh. I enjoy the possibility that part of who I am personally in my job to pursue, but as I've become an adult in this business, I try to look at all elements in each individual project to do good things complete package.
