Michael Beuke was carried out by the Ohio Thursday for the murder of a hitchhiker Cincinnati, who was found dead in 1983. No complications occurred during the execution of the long stay on death row followed Beuke's.

Robert Craig was the hitchhiker who was slain. He was 27. Beuke was convicted of murder in 1993. He was the 38th person to be slain by the State of Ohio because the weather implementing the death penalty in 1999.
