Blunt House GOP trumpets "Cut You" program:
Is this a stupid gimmick of Congress or a way to get people sick of all the expenses?

There is a debate out there, consisting of both schools of thought as House Republicans announced a new initiative that let people go to programs that Congress should cut.

House Minority Whip Eric Cantor, R-Va., Spelt you cut the initiative yesterday, in which people will be able to choose which of the five federal programs should be tuned for cutting.

House Republicans say that next Monday, they will take stock of sentiments people-taking and later in the week they will be an up-or-down vote on one of the programs - a vote that may or may not occur with the presentation the Democratic-run Congress.

Included in the offer of the first week are proposals for public financing for presidential elections, cut, cut away some suspicious sounding HUD and the end "taxpayer funded activities of the Union" - giving a taste of what Republicans have in store for us in the coming weeks.

This afternoon, Rep. Roy Blunt, who used to work at Cantor have been invited to the exercise Missourian closing and offered a link to the action.

"Let's see what you want to cut," said Blunt, a candidate for the GOP Senate nomination this year's Missouri.

Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer, R-St. Elizabeth, was even earlier with a video with his thoughts.
