Heroes canceled by NBC - a TV movie possibly in the works:

NBC has officially announce Monday night hit series, Heroes, not to return. Heroes wrapped its fourth season last fall, and the expectation for a return was building, but overshadowed by the fact that most viewers thought the show would eventually be canceled. In the last episode of season four, one of the main characters, Claire Bennet leaps from the top a Ferris wheel, exposing herself and her kind to the rest of the world. This left the series in a cliff hanger - and that was very typical of the show. For those who are really bummed about the cancellation, there are rumors that all is not lost (no pun intended). "There has been talk that NBC, a film that allows producers to address air the story, but nothing is set in stone" (Entertainment Weekly). I think a TV movie would be a great way to tie together the loose ends, yet I feel like it was done hastily or carelessly, it can totally ruin the show for me. I was a big fan of Heroes and I am a bit sad to have to take my TV repertoire. Season four, for me, was great and the story lines and character development were so much better than season three.
