Amy Schumer:

Amy Schumer (born 01/06/1981) is an American stand-up comedian originally from Long Island, New York. She placed fourth on NBC's Last Comic Standing Season 5. Amy also placed second on Comedy Central's Reality Bites Back.

As a child, Schumer would make up her own characters, such as Madame Lavitsky, a fortune teller. In high school, Schumer took part in the theater and even played Gretl in The Sound of Music "and performing like Molly in" Annie ". She also played volleyball. In her last years, was both Schumer voted "class clown" and "Teacher's Worst Nightmare" . Schumer graduated from South Side High School in 1999. Schumer earned a BA in theater at Towson University. She graduated from the William Esper Studio.

After university, Schumer moved to New York City to be an actress. She tended bar and waited tables while auditioning for roles. At one point, Schumer portrayed a young woman diagnosed with breast cancer in the off-Broadway show keeping a breast. Amy started as a stand-up comedy on 01.06.2004, where she first performed at Gotham Comedy Club .

Amy's favorite actors are Louis CK, Bill Burr, Dave Attell, Jim Norton, Wendy Liebman, Sarah Silverman, Margaret Cho and Ellen DeGeneres. She is also a New York Mets fan.
On February 22, 2008, Amy was a guest co-host on the XM radio show "The Black Phillip Show", hosted by comedian Patrice Oneal New York.

On March 17, 2010, Schumer made an appearance on the Opie and Anthony Show. She is a regular guest on Fox News late-night program Red Eye w / Greg Gutfeld.
She was the first female comic to Stand up to perform on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Ellen Degeneres Show.

Her first Comedy Central Presents special airs on April 2, 2010 at 11:30 am EST.
